Panerai PAM00972, Firenze, Florence, Italy. This is the only official Panerai carved watch with a bridge guard (604 and 672 are non-guard bridge models). This watch is actually a 372 carved watch. Model, the factory uses the original 372 for mold opening and then carving, ensuring a one-to-one shell shape and size. Equipped with a P3000 manual winding movement, a 47mm case and an arched sapphire scratch-resistant glass on the lid. In essence, it can be said to be a carved version of Panerai 372, which is very popular and quite traditional. The watch uses a black dial decorated with radial sun patterns. The dial is engraved with “Firenze”, which is the birthplace of Panerai and the inspiration for the watch. The pattern of Florentine lilies creates an intoxicating effect. Like many Panerai watches, this watch also uses a “sandwich” dial, so it has an outstanding luminous effect. The Panerai 972 watch is not only carved on the case, lugs, and bridges, but also decorated on the movement to ensure the overall perfection. The overall aesthetic control of the movement’s carvings is just right. The edge part of the bridge is surrounded by dense pattern decoration, while the central area maintains the balance of the aesthetic design through various geometric lines and a more textured iris pattern. Contrary to the craftsmanship used in the case, the engraved pattern on the movement is laser processed. The only carved model in the Luminor bridge guard series, worthy of collection.
